Growing In Grace Part I

In life we have many different trials / tribulations, ups / downs and circumstances that make us feel as though we have just been hit by a hurricane leaving our present state dismantled. It is during these times when our backs are against the wall that we gain wisdom and knowledge. These situations are also opportunities for our love level to flourish so that we may turn our focus towards depending on God and love him even more. (Example: As soon as something tragic happens most people yell "Oh God " or when they are in trouble they either call on him to save them or swear by his name.) In most cases, it seems as if we must feel like our backs are against the wall or like we are out there all by ourself with no one who can help us so that God can help us grow in grace. Many people profess that they love God, yet they show no indications that they even have a relationship with him and during these hard times that one may face will either propel them to demonstrate their profession by praising him, standing firm believing on him, not forsaking him by walking in grace and love. We should gain experience and knowledge from each trial because this is God's way of putting a word in our mouth to tell somebody what he has done or how he has taken care of us during difficult times when man could not do a thing. (Example: If you testify that God is a healer you have to get sick sometimes for him to make others believers of your testimony.) God Bless !!!

Supportive Scripture: Phil 1:9 - Yet for loves sake I rather bessech thee, being such as one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
